The HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) communication protocol is widely used in industrial automation systems, particularly for process control and field devices. HART allows bidirectional communication between smart field instruments (e.g., sensors, actuators) and control systems, enabling advanced diagnostics and configuration.
This course is 10% theory and 90% hands-on exercises, delivered over 2 days, ensuring participants learn through practical application in real-world scenarios.
Digital material content will be provided to each learner prior to commencing the on-site hands on practically based course. Consuming this content is an optional choice for the learner but should be considered as self-directed learning. Consumption of this digital material prior to attending the course will enable learners to gain knowledge and understanding of the topics
Areas covered include:
The course uses practical exercises with real-life examples to demonstrate HART applications in an industrial automation environment. Participants will also learn how to integrate and troubleshoot HART communication in systems controlled by PLCs. These real-life scenarios can be tailored to mimic the learner’s area of employment.
